Author Biography

Mitchell W Sedgwick

Mitchell W Sedgwick is Senior Visiting Fellow in the Department of Anthropology, London School of Economics. He has formerly held positions as Director, Europe Japan Research Centre, and Senior Lecturer in Anthropology, Oxford Brookes University; Yasuda Fellow at the Faculty of Oriental Studies, and affiliated with King's College, University of Cambridge; and Executive Director of the Program on US-Japan Relations at Harvard University. He had an earlier career as consulting organisational anthropologist on South East Asia and West Africa for the World Bank, and worked in Cambodia on its first postwar election for the United Nations.
