Author Biography

Maria Margaroni, University of Cyprus

Maria Margaroni is Assistant Professor in Literary and Cultural Theory at the University of Cyprus. She is co-author (with John Lechte) of Julia Kristeva: Live Theory (Continuum, 2004) and co-editor (with Effie Yiannopoulou) of Metaphoricity and the Postmodern Politics of Mobility (Rodopi, forthcoming 2005). Her publications are in the fields of Continental Philosophy, Postmodern Theory and Feminism. She is currently involved in editing (with Effie Yiannopoulou) a special issue of the European Journal of English Studies on "Intimate Transfers" (forthcoming 2005).
