Alain Beaulieu, Dr., is Associate Professor of Philosophy at Laurentian University (Canada). He has a Doctorat de 3e cycle in philosophy from the Université de Paris 8 with a thesis on Gilles Deleuze et la phénoménologie (Sils Maria/Vrin, 2nd ed. 2006). His books include: Gilles Deleuze and Metaphysics (co-editor, Lexington 2014), Cuerpo y acontecimiento. La estética de Gilles Deleuze (Letra Viva 2012), Gilles Deleuze et ses contemporains (Harmattan 2011), Michel Foucault et le contrôle social (editor, Presses de l’Université Laval, 2nd ed. 2008), as well as Michel Foucault and Power Today (editor, Lexington 2006). Recent articles include: “The Death of Gilles Deleuze as Composition of a Concept” (with Douglas Ord; Deleuze Studies 11:1, 2017) and “Introduction to Gilles Deleuze's Cosmological Sensibility” (Philosophy & Cosmology 16, 2016). Sverre Raffnsøe, Dr. Phil. (Dr. Habil.), is Professor of Philosophy at Department of Management, Politics and Philosophy, Copenhagen Business School. He is Editor-in-Chief of Foucault Studies and the author of books and articles on management philosophy, philosophical aesthetics, social philosophy and recent French and German philosophy. Recent books include Michel Foucault: A Research Companion. Philosophy as Diagnosis of the Present (Palgrave 2016) and Philosophy of the Anthropocene: The Human Turn (Palgrave 2016). Recent articles are: “The Foucault Effect in organization studies” (Organization Studies, 2018) and “What is critique? Critical turns in the age of criticism” (Outlines.
