Colin Koopman, University of Oregon

Colin Koopman, Professor & Head of Philosophy at Department of Philosophy, University of Oregon, USA. Koopman teaches philosophy and new media at the University of Oregon. His most recent book is How We Became Our Data: A Genealogy of the Informational Person (University of Chicago, 2019) and prior to that he wrote Genealogy as Critique (Indiana University Press, 2013) and Pragmatism as Transition (Columbia University Press, 2009). His writings on genealogy and critical theory have appeared in this journal as well as Critical Inquiry, Constellations, Philosophy & Social Criticism, Aeon, and elsewhere.
