Toon Meijaard, University of Amsterdam

Toon Meijaard is interested in the philosophy of disease and finds his inspiration in French philosophy, Nietzsche, and the anti-ableism studies. He recently finished his thesis, which is titled ‘Medicalization and Hermeneutics: the Care of the Self in Michel Foucault’s L’Herméneutique du sujet’.
