Fernando R. Zapata, Queens College, New York

Fernando R. Zapata is the recipient of the Queens College Philosophy Department's Morris K. Balsam Memorial Award, and departmental honours for undergraduate distinction in philosophy. In the Fall of 2005 he will be attending graduate school, where his research interests will include Foucault's concepts of ethical self-fashioning and studies on the practice of parrhesia. He lives in Flushing, New York.
