Hvordan kan ledere skabe rammerne for Capacity Building i deres organisationer? Et studie fra sygehusvæsenet

Resumé

Tidligere forskning indikerer på baggrund af et casestudie, at ledere bør fokusere på 10 evner/komponenter for at skabe rammerne for Capacity Building i deres organisationer. Formålet med dette studie er at kvalificere og styrke denne viden ved at foretage en konvergent validering af disse 10 komponenter. Ambitionen er at skabe et mere robust vidensgrundlag om ’ledelse af Capacity Building’, da vi forskningsmæssigt ikke ved meget empirisk om dette fænomen. Dette til trods for hospitalsvæsenet eksempelvis ofte bruger Capacity Building som retorisk konstruktion til at italesætte måder, hvorpå effektive interne processer og gode, sikre patientforløb skabes i praksis. Undersøgelsesspørgsmålet, der besvares er: Hvilke nuancer, tilskrivninger og kritikpunkter identificeres af ledere og medarbejdere, når de præsenteres for de 10 ledelseskomponenter, og hvilke implikationer har dette for tidligere resultater? Valideringen tager afsæt blandt ledere og medarbejdere i hospitalsvæsenet, nærmere i projekt ’Sikkert Patientflow’ i Region Midtjylland, Danmark.
