Abstract

The article discusses the concept of power in connection with leadership, initially from a theoretical angle, before proceeding onto the context of practice. The author finds it essential to view power from the angle of the practitioner. Business leaders should manage power not only as a theoretical concept but also as a necessary tool in the performance of practice. The article defines the power space in a business as a perpetually changing environment for manoeuvring among the stakeholders of the business.
